(WEARABLE HOME : Fluid Estate) May 2026 ยท AI Fashion Film / Lookbook
In an age when real estate cannot be owned, the last occupiable space is the body and what is worn upon it. The concept of fluid estate departs from here โ not an asset that cannot be moved, but one that folds, unfolds, and travels with the body. i just want my own space is an AI fashion film that constructs this concept in the language of clothing.
To have a space is commonly taken as a question of area. Yet what a child secures, opening an umbrella indoors to build a tent, is not area but boundary: already inside the space called home, the child erects another territory within it. The minimal surface by which one declares, from here, my place. When that surface folds, unfolds and travels, space ceases to be an immovable asset and becomes a wearable condition.
The umbrella is draped upon the body and becomes a garment; the garment envelops the body and becomes, once more, a space. Unfurled fabric spills across the shoulder and swallows the torso, while folded ribs rise behind the back like framework. Whether it is clothing or structure, protection or restraint, is never adjudicated within the frame. Each look in the lookbook is a temporary architecture: raised, folded, and raised again.
The music is Eugรจne Ysaรฟe's Violin Sonata No. 3, Ballade, for solo violin. As a single instrument standing without accompaniment must carry melody and harmony at once, so in this work a single body becomes both the dweller and the dwelling.
The concept extends toward the scale of sculpture. A variable structure exceeding wearable dimension, and upon its surface a projection by which one space is continually overlaid by another โ a structure in which a single body passes through several houses โ has been developed as a plan. The work is at present realised as a fashion film and lookbook produced entirely with AI; the physical sculpture and its media layer remain as a plan for implementation.
